Punta cana golf course-review of the first 9 holes [including video]

La Cana golf course card Punta Cana was where I booked my first all-inclusive holiday in the Dominican Republic. Being a keen golfer [4 handicap when I was younger more like 11 now!] I was interested to see what the quality of golf was like in this part of the world.

I can say without reservation that I was not disappointed.

Punta Cana is very well represented by the La Cana golf club.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing here whilst on vacation. The fairways are generous for those who enjoy giving it a wack with their driver.

Golf hole plan On the other hand there are many bunkers to catch your drive and it is worth having a look at the plan of the hole which you find adjacent to the teeing area. I`ve played most of the courses in the Dominican Republic and they tend to be fairly relaxed about what tee colour you play from.

From the card of the course you can see that it can be as easy or hard as you like!
