Playa Grande Golf Club, in Rio San Juan, Dominican Republic, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.
This course has been dubbed the 'Pebble Beach of the Caribbean' because of its setting on the cliffs overlooking the ocean.
Pros and occasional golfers alike praise this course for its breath-taking Atlantic views.
I will be writing a full review in the coming weeks but in the meantime take a look at the video of the first 9 holes.
The below video gives a good feel for the first 9 holes at Playa Grande golf course.
Which resorts is it near enough to travel from?
Cofresi, Playa Dorada [one hour], Cabarete [45 mins], Playa Grande, Sosua [one hour]
