Panecitos de queso recipe.

This is a traditional Dominican Recipe for a canape known as Panecitos de queso or `cheese bread triangles`.

  * 1/2 Pound of grated cheddar cheese
  * 1 Tablespoon of Margarine
  * Half Pound of gorgonzola or parmesan cheese
  * 1 Tablespoon of mustard
  * 1 Beaten egg
  * 10 Slices of bread, with the crusts removed and cut into triangles
  * 2 Tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley

Preparation:

  1. In a container, mix the grated cheddar cheese with the following 4 ingredients on the list in a processor until they form a paste, then set aside.
  2. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Place the bread triangles on a baking tray and put in the oven for 10 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  4. Take out of the oven, spread a tablespoon of the paste on each of the triangles, covering them well, then put in the oven for 5 minutes until the paste is melting a little.
  5. Take out of the oven and put on a plate, sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
