Chicharron:
One of my favourite Dominican republic recipes is Chicharrones, especially chicken chicharron (also known as pica-pollo). It is usually eaten with
tostones, a fried fruit chip. Prepare by washing and drying chicken and cutting it into small pieces. Seasoned with a mix of lemon juice, soy
sauce and salt. Prepare batter from flour, pepper, paprika and salt. Deep-fry until crisp and golden.
