Chinese fried rice recipe

The essential ingredients for Chinese fried rice recipe [Chofan] are rice with vegetables, egg, and meat or seafood. You can use your imagination !

Ingredients

  * 2 eggs scrambled
  * 2 tablespoons of oil
  * 1/4 to 1/2 cup of ham, pork, seafood, goat, chicken, tofu...etc. cooked and cubed.
  * 3 tablespoons soy sauce/ salsa china (or tamari sauce for a lower salt version)
  * 3 tablespoons onion
  * 1/4 cup chopped celery
  * 1/4 cup sweet corn, green peas (petit pois), red beans
  * 2 to 3 cups of cooked rice

Chofan

Preparation

1] Pre-cook vegetables and scramble eggs.

2] Add to the mix along with the rice so it does not get to hard.

3] Saut� pre cooked meats and vegetables together until the onion and celery are soft.

4] Add soy sauce and mix well.

5] Then add the pre cooked rice and stir all together and fry until hot.

6] Fluff it up with a fork.

7] Add salt to taste.

8] Serve as either main dish or a side dish.
