The beaches of the province of Puerto Plata

The province of Puerto Plata (also called Costa Ambar) is located in the north of the Dominican Republic, with more than 110 kilometers of coast this province has many beaches. It is an important tourist pole with well-known tourist towns such as Cabarete which is famous for the practice of water sports (kitesurf, surf, windsurf), Sosua, Playa Dorada where there are all-inclusive resorts, Luperon and Punta Rucia.
The province has an airport (Gregorio Luperon) which is only two hours from Miami and three and a half hours from New York, which means that this whole region is very popular with North American tourists.
